In 2024, KodeKloud achieved remarkable growth, reaching key milestones in DevOps and cloud education. Learn about our past successes and future strategy.
As we move into the final stretch of 2024, it’s a great time to look back at the exciting milestones we’ve hit and share what’s still ahead for the rest of the year.
So far, we’ve launched 25 new courses, bringing our total to an incredible 100 courses on the KodeKloud platform—an exciting achievement! And the journey isn’t over yet. We have another 25 courses planned for release before the year ends. From DevOps to cloud engineering, we’re continuing to expand our offerings and help learners grow their skills.
We’re also proud to introduce the new AWS track on KodeKloud Engineer, providing hands-on practice to help learners master AWS cloud services. Plus, our multi-language support is now live, making it easier for people from different backgrounds to access our content.
This year, we’ll be present at several Kubernetes Conferences, and we’re excited to connect with the community. We just wrapped up our Free Week, and we hope you took full advantage of it to explore our courses at no cost!
Finally, we have some exciting product updates coming soon, including a sneak peek at the latest KodeKloud AI features, which I’ll share at the end of this post. You won’t want to miss it!

KodeKloud 2024 Milestones: Celebrating 100 Courses and Growing
Starting with exciting news—nearly 25 new courses have been released this year. But before diving into the details, it's important to celebrate a huge milestone—KodeKloud has officially reached 100 courses! That’s over 5000 hours of videos and 880+ hands-on labs. Since launching in 2019, this journey has been made possible by the incredible support of the community and the hard work of the KodeKloud team.
The 100th Course: Chaos Engineering with AWS FIS
The 100th course is dedicated to all the families supporting students and the KodeKlouders. This special course, Chaos Engineering with AWS FIS by Nasia Ullas, focuses on building resilient systems by simulating failures with Fault Injection Simulations (FIS). It covers how to test the stability of platforms like EC2 instances, Amazon Aurora databases, and Kubernetes EKS clusters in real-world scenarios. This course is designed to help learners strengthen both systems and skills!

New DevOps and Cloud Certification Courses in 2024
We’ve recently rolled out three key courses designed to help you achieve major certifications.
AWS Certified Developer Associate Course
First up is the AWS Certified Developer Associate course, led by Sanjeev. This course fully prepares you for the AWS Developer Associate exam, covering all the topics you need to know with high-quality content and labs. It's the only course with Cloud Labs in every section, giving you hands-on challenges in real AWS environments to reinforce what you've learned.
GitHub Actions Certification
Next, we’ve launched the GitHub Actions certification course. GitHub recently introduced five new certifications, and this course focuses on mastering workflow automation and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. It helps you streamline tasks and speed up development, ensuring you're ready to showcase your skills with GitHub Actions.
AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals
Finally, the AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals course is now available, targeting the AZ-900 certification. It covers the basics of cloud computing, Azure services, navigating the Azure portal, managing resources, pricing, security, and compliance. If you're aiming for the Azure Fundamentals certification, this course is the perfect place to start.
Enhancing Soft Skills for DevOps Engineers: Communication and Teamwork
We’ve also launched a unique but essential course: Enhancing Soft Skills for DevOps Engineers, led by our principal trainer, Michael Forrester. This course focuses on the often-overlooked yet critical aspect of communication for DevOps and cloud engineers. Whether you're just starting out or already experienced, this course will help you develop the soft skills needed to thrive in any work environment. It's a must for anyone looking to improve their effectiveness and teamwork in the DevOps space.
Learn by Doing: New Practical Courses for DevOps and Cloud in 2024
We've just released a new set of Learn by Doing courses, inspired by the strong engagement from our community. Hands-on experience is key when mastering new concepts, especially in a DevOps career. This lineup includes four practical and fun courses:
- Prompt Engineering 101
- HashiCorp Nomad
- Deploying and Managing EFK Stack on Kubernetes
- Kubernetes Policies with Kyverno.
These courses provide valuable, real-world experience to boost your skills!
Exploring WebAssembly (WASM): The Future of Cloud Applications
WebAssembly (WASM) has quickly become one of the most revolutionary technologies since containers. It lets you run applications written in languages like Java, C#, and C++ directly in the browser.
With its growing importance, we’ve launched a course called Exploring WebAssembly for Beginners. This course covers the basics and helps you get started with this powerful technology.
New AWS Courses with Hands-On Labs: Boost Cloud Expertise
AWS continues to lead the cloud market with a 31% share in Q1 2024, making it a great time to invest in learning AWS.
To help with this, we’ve released several new courses, including
- AWS CloudWatch
- AWS EKS
- AWS Networking Fundamentals
These courses focus on hands-on labs and projects, ensuring that learners can apply their knowledge to real-world cloud environments. One standout project is the Deploying a Crypto App lab, which gives students the opportunity to build and manage a cryptocurrency application on AWS.
AI and Large Language Models (LLM) Courses: Master the Latest Trends
AI and large language models (LLMs) are at the forefront of today’s technology, and we’ve released some exciting new courses in this area.
LangChain for LLM Applications
First is LangChain, a platform that allows developers to leverage LLMs like GPT-4 for dynamic applications. Led by Janakiram, this course dives into its powerful capabilities.
K8sGPT: AI-Driven Kubernetes Management
Next, we have K8sGPT by Michael, which shows how AI can optimize and streamline Kubernetes management. These are just the beginning—more AI-focused courses are on the way later this year!
Essential Linux, GitLab, and Kubernetes Courses
We’ve recently launched several other courses, including Linux System Administration, an updated LFCS course with Jeremy Morgan, GitLab CI/CD, OpenTofu, K8s Networking Deep Dive, and Terragrunt for Beginners. Each course is packed with valuable content—be sure to check them out!
Upcoming Courses for Q3 and Q4 2024: DevOps, Cloud, and More
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming to KodeKloud for the rest of the year.
In Q3, we’re rolling out:
- KCSA: The final course in the Kubeastronaut series, set to release this month. With this, you’ll have all five courses needed to become a “Kube Astronaut.”

- A project-based course: Building a High-Efficiency CI/CD Pipeline for Scalable Web Applications.

- Additional courses: CompTIA Sec+, Nginx, Rust programming, intermediate and advanced Jenkins, K8s Autoscaling, and AI-focused courses like MLOps Fundamentals, LLMOps on Azure, OpenAI Intro, and AWS Certified AI Practitioner.

KodeKloud Expands in 2024 with Multi-Language Support and Global Access
We have some exciting updates for our learning platform! In June, we launched a new version of the KodeKloud platform, opening up opportunities for better on-boarding, course recommendations, learning paths, labs, and hands-on experiences. Plus, the long-awaited KodeKloud mobile app is on the horizon!
One of the immediate updates is the introduction of high-quality subtitles and translations in several languages, including French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, and Korean. If you'd like to see more languages, just let us know, and we can make it happen.
We're also working on making our entire course catalog available in multiple languages, ensuring KodeKloud is accessible to learners everywhere.

New AWS Track on KodeKloud Engineer: Hands-On Challenges for Cloud Mastery
We’ve added an exciting AWS track to KodeKloud Engineer! It features a series of AWS challenges where you solve tasks, unlock new ones, and earn points. There are currently three levels, with similar tracks for Azure and Google Cloudcoming soon. Keep an eye out for more updates!
