WE'RE HIRING

Help millions of people build real DevOps, Cloud and AI skills

We're a remote-first team of builders, educators and operators. Our work makes technical learning practical - the kind that holds up in real jobs, not just in a course completion screen.

Who we are

A team building what most training can't

KodeKloud started because most technical training didn't prepare people for actual work. Videos taught syntax, but not how to debug a broken pipeline at 11pm. So we built hands-on labs and real environments instead, and our students loved them.

Today we're a small, distributed team - ~110 people across ~20 countries - working on the courses, labs, and a platform that millions of engineers learn with. The work here is direct. There are no committees between you and the thing you're building.

If you ship something this week, learners will use it next week.

How we work

Async-first.
High ownership.

We're async-first, and we mean it

Meetings are the exception. Most decisions happen in writing, on Slack threads and shared docs, so anyone in any timezone can participate without being on a call at midnight. Expect to write more than you speak.

Small team, high ownership

You'll own meaningful surface area from week one. There isn't a layer of managers between you and the work, which means more autonomy, and more responsibility for getting things over the line.

Global by Design

We didn't 'go' remote, we've been remote since the beginning. And you can see this in our team, spread across - 20 countries and 22 timezones, with no headquarters and no 'main office' anyone reports to.

Practical over theoretical

We teach hands-on skills, and we hire for that. The bias here is toward shipping, testing, and iterating, not long planning cycles. If you've ever been frustrated by months of strategy decks before anything ships, you'll feel at home.

Culture fit

Who thrives here

Honestly, because the wrong fit is painful for everyone:

  • People who can run with an ambiguous problem and come back with a draft, rather than waiting for a brief.
  • People who care about the craft of what they're shipping - whether that's a lab, a curriculum, a Slack reply, or a line of code.
  • People who are comfortable being one of a few owners of a surface area, rather than one of many contributors.
  • People who default to writing things down rather than scheduling a call.

This might not be for you if...

  • You do your best work in a structured environment with clear daily check-ins and a defined ramp.
  • You strongly prefer real-time collaboration - most of our work happens in writing, often hours apart.
  • You're looking for a role with deep specialisation in a narrow area. We're small enough that in most roles most people wear several hats.

Our process

What to expect from our hiring process

We try to keep this honest and short. For most roles, the process looks like this:

Application Review

We get a lot of applications, so sometimes it can take a few days for us to get back to you

Intro conversation

A call with someone on the hiring team to talk through your background, what you're looking for, and how the role works. This is as much for you as it is for us.

Practical exercise/case study (if needed)

A real piece of work that resembles what you'd actually do here.

2-4 Team conversations

You'll meet the Hiring Manager and a few more people you'd work with directly.

Decision

We aim to come back fast either way. If we extend an offer, we'll walk you through it

Culture fit

A bunch of teachers, makers, movers

Benefits & Perks

Benefits & Perks

Fully remote, by design

We're remote-first from day one. The team works from homes, co-working spaces, and everywhere in between - we care about outcomes, not hours logged. We do make time to meet in person for a few days each year.

Health & well-being

Comprehensive health coverage tailored to where you live, plus fully paid parental leave and flexible practices for the parts of life that don't fit into a calendar invite. We hire people for the long run, and we want them in good shape for it.

Learning & growth

Learning is our product, and it's how the team operates internally too. Everyone gets a dedicated annual learning budget and the time to use it - whether you're going deeper in your craft or picking up something new on the side.

Lifestyle support & flexibility

A flexible annual budget you can spend on what actually supports your life: fitness, meals, childcare, pet care, family support. Everyone's life looks different - we trust you to pick what helps.
