AB-900: Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals

In this course, you will build the knowledge needed to earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals certification. As organizations roll out Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents, they need administrators who can manage these tools safely and responsibly. This course prepares you for exactly that role.

You will start with the core building blocks of Microsoft 365: services like Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, the Microsoft 365 admin center and key admin tools, and how admin roles are assigned using role-based access control.

Next, you will explore Microsoft 365 security foundations. You will learn the Zero Trust security model and how to apply it in Microsoft 365, along with threat protection, identity and authentication, access management with Microsoft Entra, and how to monitor and troubleshoot identity security.

From there, you will focus on one of the largest parts of the exam: protecting and governing data. You will learn how Microsoft Purview helps organizations identify and respond to data risks, handle compliance and eDiscovery, prevent oversharing in SharePoint, and protect data when Microsoft 365 Copilot is in use.

You will then get a complete picture of Microsoft 365 Copilot and agents: what they are, how they differ, how licensing works, how to plan and deploy them, and where they deliver real value in day-to-day work.

Finally, you will learn the hands-on administration skills the exam expects. This includes managing Copilot licenses and pay-as-you-go billing, monitoring usage and adoption, governing prompts, and managing the full agent lifecycle: creating agents in Copilot Chat and SharePoint, testing them, controlling user access, and applying approval and governance processes.
