I am unable to create a Redshift cluster using the dc2.large instance type, as it is not available in the UI. If I try to use a different instance type, the cluster is created, but I encounter a “Playground breach exception” the next time I access the playground. The exception specifically mentions that only the dc2.large instance type is allowed. I need guidance on how to resolve this and successfully create the cluster with the required instance type.
I can’t get this to work either, and have asked for information how to create a cluster with the prescribed dc2-large size.
BTW – you’ve asked this before, and in that thread, I asked for more information. You’ll get better service if you answer these questions when asked, rather than open up a new question, or worse, multiple questions on a topic.
