Prathap Reddy:
What are the valid Indian government-issued photo ID’s that are accepted for CKA exam
Prabhjyot Kaur:
Please refer this doc: https://docs.linuxfoundation.org/tc-docs/certification/tips-cka-and-ckad
Prathap Reddy:
Thanks @Prabhjyot Kaur, can I submit Aadhar also as ID proof?
Prabhjyot Kaur:
Not sure of that but passport and DL is fine… although you can submit a ticket to LF for this.
Prathap Reddy:
Thanks
Prabhjyot Kaur:
@Prathap Reddy FYI
The signature does not print in the Aadhar so not valid.
PAN card, Passport, driving license valid.
Shwetha:
@Prathap Reddy There have been cases where the Proctor insisted on a different ID proof when the ID contained non-latin characters. Better to use an ID document that doesn’t have a local language on it. Passport is the safest bet.
Sharique Ahmed:
@Prathap Reddy @Prabhjyot Kaur
I submitted my Aadhar card and the proctore accepted it. As @Shwetha said, maybe it depends on the proctor. In my case the proctor accepted Aadhar card.
Prabhjyot Kaur:
Thanks for letting us know.
My proctor accepted PAN card which had my signature
Hey everyone, can someone please confirm that PAN card would work. Because I don’t have a DL and Passport as of now.
You can certainly use Aadhaar. Nobody has confirmed or denied that PAN is acceptable.
Please read this.
If you do have Aadhaar, try your PAN first, and if they do not accept it, present the Aadhaar. Please report back if the PAN was sufficient. If you do not have Aadhaar, then perhaps obtain it first to be safe.
thanks @Alistair_KodeKloud, used aadhaar card. given CKA yesterday, got results today, cracked it : )
I used Aadhaar directly
