Hello,
Are there any plans to fully upgrade the RHCSA course to RHEL9?
I have noticed a few things are outdated and not relevant.
I’ve asked our content team about their plans. When I hear from them, I’ll pass it on to you.
Any update? I start my preparation to RHCSA.
I’m talking with our content team on Friday; I’ll ask about this.
We’ll likely upgrade the labs to use RH 9 soon; I would guess the videos will remain mostly the same for a while.
Thank you @rob_kodekloud I will do anyway all of those labs, however would be better to have it up-to-date one day.
Are the LABs are upgraded to V9 because I bought this course to study the new version of RHCSA v9 ![]()
@rob_kodekloud
I have reminded the content team of this; it is in our tracking system. I don’t have an estimate when this would happen.
Any update @rob_kodekloud . I am planning to go through the red hat lab with the upgraded version. Please could you Kindly confirm ?
Shouldn’t it be updated to RHEL 10 now?
Hi community, I was under the same impression, that RHEL 10 is more relevant,
But after going through the latest changes from RHEL 9 to RHEL 10, there are many key changes that involves the repo management change involving flatpack and it’s configuration and adding the management of container’s switching to QUadlet from podman.
My best recommendation would be if you are planning to take the RHCSA exam in the next 2-3 months , please go with RHEL 9, as from Industry point of view it will still take a lot of time of Entripises to upgrade from RHEL7,8,9 to RHEL 10.
Still if you have more doubts about RHCSA, please feel free to ask.
