In above ss I know ip addr is use to show all the addresses of interfaces for a particular host but I am not able to recognize for bob’s laptop . Also what are the imp parameter one should look after , when run this command? What are the other ip addresses for ?

All of these IP addresses are assigned to bob laptop, you need to know that a laptop can have multiple interface, and it’s the case right now. Each of them have an IP address assigned to him. You need to check with response correspond better to all IP address.
