Unable to Start Next Kubernetes Tasks – Showing "Unlock" Instead of "Start". why

I am currently practicing in the Engineer section on KodeKloud.

I was working on Kubernetes Level 1 tasks , and I successfully completed the first 6 tasks . However, after Task 6, I cannot continue because the next tasks are showing an “Unlock” button instead of the “Start” button .

Additionally, when I check Ansible Level 1 , the tasks are not active. It only shows the option to start the section, but the tasks themselves are not accessible.

I would like to understand:

• Why the next Kubernetes tasks are locked after completing Task 6
• If there are any prerequisites required to unlock the remaining tasks
• Why the Ansible tasks are not active yet

I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Could you please guide me on how to proceed?

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Ali Suhaib

Can you please share which plan are you subscribed to?

For users with a Free subscription, when a topic is added to Active Practice, 1 task unlocks per day. * Next task unlocks only after the previous task is marked as completed.

You can refer to our FAQ on task unlock logic for the KodeKloud Engineer platform.

Yes, I am currently using the Free plan .

I understand that with the free subscription 1 task unlocks per day and the next task unlocks after the previous task is completed.

However, I noticed that in Ansible Level 1 , it still shows 0 tasks unlocked , and no task is available to start. As per the unlock logic, I expected at least 1 task to be available .

Could you please check if there might be an issue with my account or if there is something else I need to do to unlock the first task in Ansible?

I guess you might have exceeded the 3 tasks per day limit across all Topics in KodeKloud Engineer.

However, I believe I have not exceeded the 3 tasks per day limit across all topics. Today I only worked on the Kubernetes Level 1 tasks , and I completed up to Task 6 earlier.

After that, the next tasks started showing “Unlock” instead of “Start” , so I was unable to continue.

Also, when I checked Ansible Level 1 , it still shows 0 tasks unlocked , so I cannot start any task there either.

Could you please check if there might be any issue with the task unlock status on my account?
