Ultimate Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Mock Exam Series

Hello KodeKloud Team,
Now, I am practicing with the CKS Mock Exam Series. There are many issues in Mock Exam 3. For example, In Question 1, " An AppArmor profile has been created at /etc/apparmor.d/containers/restricted-frontend with the following security restrictions:" but under the environment, there is no /containers/restricted-frontend. Other questions are the same. I think that the Mock Exam 3 environment is something wrong with most of the questions. Please check the following issue in Mock Exam 3.

  1. Question 1: A deployment named frontend in the apparmor-demo namespace requires additional security isolation. An AppArmor profile has been created at /etc/apparmor.d/containers/restricted-frontend with the following security restrictions. Issue: No file. Can’t check file path.
  2. Question 3: A ConstraintTemplate named k8srequiredresources is already created that validates CPU and memory limits. But, not listed. No file.
  3. Question 5: Pod is created successfully. I copied your answer guide Pod definition. Pod is up and running. But the Answer is failed.
  4. In the question, there is a pod under the secure-runtime namespace. No namespace and no pod. Check
  5. Question 15, A pod named volume-app in the volume-security namespace is configured to use a hostPath volume. No Pod!!!

I am experiencing the same issue. Looks like the lab environment is not created normally. If you check the root folder, there are the manifests for preparing exam environment - creating namespaces, deployments and pods. Also, apparmor profile, etc. Also, there is an issue with pulling nginx:alpine Docker image. Looks like it’s not available anymore. Maybe that is the reason why the automated exam environment failed.
