Transitioning from Production Support and Release Engineering to DevOps, aiming to build strong fundamentals and be interview-ready

Hello everyone,

After spending several years in Production Support and Release Engineering, I’ve made a clear decision to transition seriously into DevOps. While I’ve worked closely with CI/CD processes, I now realize that much of my experience was execution-focused rather than built on strong conceptual foundations.

I want to correct that by strengthening my core fundamentals and gaining deeper technical clarity.

Timeline: next 3-5 months

I’d really appreciate guidance on:

  • The must-complete KodeKloud courses for a solid DevOps foundation
  • High-impact hands-on labs that are valuable for interviews
  • Strong resume-worthy project ideas aligned with current market expectations

Looking forward to your suggestions and insights.

Hi @ceenamech

You can look at our DevOps Engineer Learning path, and start from there.

Thanks @Santosh_KodeKloud . Started going through the courses mentioned in Devops path.

Hi @Santosh_KodeKloud , does that learning path include projects where we can showcase in our resume ? Thanks
