I have installed tomcat as per the question and configured to run it on port 8089 as per the question on app server 3. The task is failed saying that tomcat package is not installed on App Server 1
which is not mentioned in the question at all.

If the error says tomcat was not installed on app server 1 then there is no possibility that you were asked to install it on app server 3. Please note that every time you re-load the lab the server can change so make sure to check which server is mentioned in the question before performing and submitting the task.
