I believe there is an issue with the tests for question #9 in the lab for switching and routing. I believe I set up the routes correctly (even went back and copy/pasted the hint answers directly to the corresponding apps). Pinging app03 and app04 from app01 or app02 and vice versa are not going through and the tests are failing.
I’ve tried on Firefox, Brave, and Google but getting the same issues.
Actually, you have got the IP of app01(172.16.238.15). But do you remember the lecture said that it only works when setting ‘/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward’ to ‘0’ on the Gateway? The default value of the jump server is 1, so you cannot get the response from app01. Just kindly change the value and re-try.
