Subtitles enhancement proposal

Hello there,

Since I’m not sure which category I should use, I prefer to let it uncategorized and admin modify it if needed.
Whenever I activate subtitles on videos, I find it difficult to use since most of the time, the subtitle will be over some part of the slide.

Would be possible to enhance this feature, like in udemy, and have the possibility to put subtitles below the video instead of over it ?
This would be really more usable.

+1 about positioning of the subtitles.
Also, It would be much better if the subtitle preferences are persistent across all videos and courses. currently it is only limited to per video and it get reset every time next video starts.
