Struggling in L2/L3 DevOps Interviews – Need Guidance on Troubleshooting & Real-World Scenarios

Hi everyone,

I have around 5+ years of experience and I am currently preparing for DevOps Engineer roles.

I am able to consistently clear the initial interview rounds, but I am facing challenges in the second and third rounds. Specifically, I struggle with:

  • Advanced troubleshooting scenarios (especially Kubernetes issues like CrashLoopBackOff, service connectivity, etc.)
  • Real-world production debugging questions
  • Deep technical discussions where detailed step-by-step explanation is expected

I feel I have theoretical knowledge, but I lack confidence in handling real-time debugging and scenario-based questions.

Could you please guide me on:

  1. Which KodeKloud courses or labs I should prioritize for improving troubleshooting skills?
  2. How to practice real-world DevOps scenarios effectively?
  3. Any structured approach to prepare specifically for L2/L3 interview rounds?

Any practical advice, roadmap, or resources would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!
