Spacebar stops working in Labs after 5 minutes (CKA Practice/Mock Tests)

Issue Description:
I am experiencing a recurring issue where the spacebar stops functioning entirely within the lab terminal after approximately 5 minutes of use. This happens consistently across different labs, specifically within the “Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) with Practice Tests” course.

Symptoms:

The spacebar works perfectly for the first few minutes of a session.

After ~5 minutes, the spacebar stops registering in the terminal (both in the shell and within vi insert mode).

Other keys continue to work normally.

Opening a new tab or restarting the lab provides a temporary fix, but the issue returns shortly after.

Environment Details:

OS: macOS Tahoe v26.3 (Apple Silicon/arm64)

Browser: Chrome Version 145.0.7632.117

Access Method: Udemy/Subscription

Troubleshooting Already Attempted:
I have followed the standard troubleshooting steps provided by support, including:

Logging out and back in.

Testing in Incognito/Private mode.

Clearing browser cache and cookies.

Disabling all browser extensions.

Verifying keyboard input methods/language settings.

Testing on different networks.

Despite these steps, the issue persists. I have also seen a similar issue reported previously here: Space in the Lab

Has anyone else encountered this specifically on macOS or the latest Chrome builds? Any advice on a permanent fix would be appreciated, as this makes completing timed mock exams nearly impossible.

Did you check by disabling some of your Chrome extensions?
We have past experiences where Chrome extensions have interfered with KK labs.

Yes, I disabled all browser extensions.
