I am not able to understand what’s the main issue i am facing I have installed firewalld package and setting up correct rule but getting same error again and again . Even i fixed it. Its a system issue or what ? kindly help me out .
rror: DBUS_ERROR: Failed to connect to socket /run/dbus/system_bus_socket: Connection refused
If you are talking about Linux Firewalld Rules task then you should have firewalld already installed on the respective server so you need not to install it again just make sure its service is up and running you add/test appropriate rule as asked in the question.
Well, I am trying to do this task right now and it seems like firewalld is not installed in the environment: sudo yum list installed | grep fire returns nothing, sudo systemctl list-unit-files doesn’t show the init script and firewall-cmd is not recognized.
I thought I would fix it by just installing the package but then I cannot start it because of this DBUS_ERROR.
I tried restarting environment a few times but it didn’t help. Do I miss something? Should I login to different environment or something?
In which server are you running it, you need to run it in the backup server stbkp01 thats what the tasks asks us to do or you will get that error if you try in other servers
FYI, to get all details about project, infrastructure, servers, credentials etc please look for Wiki, Architecture etc under Project on your KKE dashboard itself.
If anyone is not able to find that information or if you think some required information is missing in the questions please do let us know.
