Question About RDS Limit Violation

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this.

In AWS Level 1 Final test, I got a violation notice for launching more than three RDS instances. However, when I opened the lab, there were already three RDS instances running in the AWS account by default (see attached screenshot).

The task then asked me to deploy two more RDS instances, but it wasn’t clear if those initial three were part of the next steps or if I was supposed to delete or reuse them. I just followed the instructions to create two more, and then got flagged for violating the limit.

Did anyone else run into this? Any advice on how to handle it — or should I contact support directly?

Thanks a lot for any help!

Hi @Youssef10

Some questions create RDS instances and then ask you to perform specific tasks. If a question doesn’t mention these RDS instances explicitly, please ignore them for now, they will be used in the following questions.
