This question of the lab is wrong. It asks to ping via the UI, but the UI requires a port, while ping does not. Can it be rephrased or removed? I did not know what to do, to be honest.

I think the word “ping” in Step 5/7 is a colloquial rather than technical; it’s likely a TCP probe, and not ICMP, which is what ping would actually be.
Ok, it can be. But then how to test it in the UI as per the request in the exercise?
