getting this error while trying to spin up new instance in the AWS

What region are you using? The same images in different regions have different AMI ids.

This AMI is from ap-southeast-2

The supported list of regions is:

us-east-1
us-east-2
eu-central-1
us-west-2
eu-west-2
ap-southeast-1
