No course Videos working

When I try to watch the course videos I get:

Sorry

Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.

Doing the k8s Absolute beginners course. Is this just me???

Most likely the problem is indeed at your end, since I’ve been viewing videos today from California. So a few questions:

  • Where are you located?
  • Is there possibly a firewall at the place you are using your browser that would block vimeo.com?

I am located in Sydney, Australia

trying Vimeo. the error is:

Played a random video on Vimeo…

in same browser… Works.
Video’s inside KodeKloud still broken with the Privacy message…??

Still, likely a firewall problem at your end. Here’s a starting point for possible troubleshooting.

$50 says it isn’t a Firewall.

I don’t, but since you seem to be having problems that aren’t happening generally, it would be a safe bet that it’s closer to your end than ours. If you’re really sure of yourself, send email to [email protected], who will walk you through more likely causes than you may find likely.

Problem was my end, but not a firewall.
Browser addon broke user privacy settings from being pushed to Vimeo. It seems an update to that addon caused Vimeo to fail to read my privacy settings and hence the error.
