Hello everyone, I have been practicing Kubernetes through Rancher Desktop for the last 2 weeks. I am looking forward to passing the Cloud Native exam. For that, I have to practice. But I don’t know how to do that. I don’t have a home lab. I see the Rancher desktop for practice How do I practice Kubernetes in a way that I pass those exams? And how do I create a multi-node cluster in my local system using Rancher Desktop?
My first question to you would be – do you really need a multi-node cluster at this stage of your learning? Most people don’t, at least initially. Something like minikube often suffices, and it’s a bit easier to set up than Rancher.
If you do want to use Rancher, it’s a perfectly good platform. Here’s a tutorial for setting it up. But there are easier things to set up that give you most of the same benefits.
