Need assistance in learning content

Hi, I have only linux administration experience and would like to go for devops. But after signing up on kodekloud, I see under Learning paths > Devops, all are basic courses. Are they enough to go into a entry devops job or do I need to dive into the advanced courses at this point? Someone please guide me which all courses need to be completed to get started. I see both shell scripting and python under devops. Both needs to be completed on the go?

Regards,
Jeen

HI @jeen.raj

Linux admin is a very good starting point. With this you should already know shell scripting and how to use to create automation.

Python is well worth learning. When you know enough, it is easier to create complex automations than with shell.

You should learn at least one cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and get certified. Not all this is covered on KK, but there are plenty of Udemy courses.

Also Kubernetes (CKA at least), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD technology like Jenkins.
