nc -z -v -w 2 &lt;svc-name&gt; &lt;svc-port&gt;

Pls, explain me the meaning of each filed.

nc -> netcat, utility to check tcp/udp connections
• -z -> netcat will only scan to see if the port is open
• -v -> verbose, will print more information in the standard output
• -w 2 -> will timeout in 2 seconds
• svc-name -> the service at kubernetes
• svc-port -> the port
