Linux User Setup with Non-Interactive Shell-Task 1

I am having this with task as i dont understand where i am going wrong.

Kindly check the error details and advise accordingly.

You are not creating the user on the correct server.

The question will have said something like

Create a user named mark with a non-interactive shell on App Server 2

You have

  1. Done ssh [email protected], which has effectively done nothing. It’s logged you back into the server you start on as the same user.
  2. Created user mark on jumphost (the server you start on) which would not have been in the question.

You need to ssh to the given app server from the question (could be 1, 2 or 3), using the appropriate credentials from here. Then become root there and create the requested user.
