you ran correct way tar -czfv javed.tar.gz /data/javed/
In any location doesn’t matter but after creation of that tar archive file, you have to copy that file in /home.
and i can see in screenshot you are moving that whole directories(/data/javed/) that’s not good practice.
and why you created javed directory in /home, that doesn’t make any sense at all.
for you, above 2 steps is enough to complete the task.
