hello guys, I am encountering an authorisation problem with the aws labs account. all the free AMI’s are not valid and says its not specific to another region. knowing that my vpn link to europe and america, what country should I choose on aws? or is there any other way to solve this?
The playgrounds for AWS only allow for these two regions, wherever you are accessing the playgrounds from:
- us-east-1
- us-west-2
AMI ID are region specific in AWS if I recall correctly, so you need to search for your AMIs by whichever of those two regions you chose for your instances. The web UI for setting up your instance should give you an option to choose valid AMIs for that region.
