Hi Support Team,
I am facing a validation issue in the lab related to VPC peering on the 100 day of cloud, AWS Day 49: Centralized Audit Logging with VPC Peering .
The validator reports:
“Private VPC route table is missing a route to Public VPC via VPC Peering.”
However, I have verified the following:
- The VPC peering connection is in the Active state.
- The private VPC route table contains a route to the public VPC through the VPC peering connection.
- The public VPC route table also contains the corresponding return route.
- Connectivity between the private and public instances is working successfully.
- I am able to transfer logs from the private instance to the public instance and upload them to the S3 bucket, confirming that the peering connection is functioning correctly.
Despite the successful connectivity and correct routing, the lab validator continues to report that the private route table is missing the peering route.
Could you please review the lab validation or let me know if there is any additional requirement that is not mentioned in the lab instructions?
Thank you.
