User Profile
KodeKloud Engineer caters to two types of users: Pro and Non-Pro.

Pro Users: Pro users enjoy an enhanced experience on the platform. They have access to the content and tasks faster, allowing them to solve challenges at a quicker pace. To become pro user, you need to purchase pro plan on kodekloud.com.

Non-Pro Users: Non-Pro users have limited access to the platform, which may result in a slower pace when solving tasks. However, it’s essential to note that there is absolutely no difference in the experience gained by Pro and Non-Pro users upon completing a task. This uniformity in comparison ensures fair evaluation.
Experience Points
One of the primary ways to track your progress and proficiency on KodeKloud Engineer is through Experience Points (XP). Solving tasks successfully earns you Experience Points. Different tasks have different experience points. You can find the experience points assigned to the task by hovering over the task name.
KK Currency (KKC)
KodeKloud Currency (KKC) is the virtual currency used on the platform. You can accumulate KKC and use it for various purposes.
Earning KKC
- For every 100 Experience Points earned, you will receive 10 KKC.
- Streaks grant bonus KKC.
Using KKC
As a Non-Pro user, you can use your accumulated KKC to unlock a new task, thus expanding your access to more challenges and learning opportunities.
Streak
Streaks are a measure of your consistent performance on KodeKloud Engineer. Whenever you complete 5 tasks without any redos, your streak goes up by 1.
- Streaks also grant extra bonus KKC to the user, motivating you to maintain consistent progress.
Topics
KodeKloud Engineer offers various courses such as Git, Linux, etc., each containing different levels (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4). Each level of a course is considered a different topic.
Medals
Medals are prestigious achievements earned by successfully completing all tasks in a specific topic (e.g., Level 1 - Linux).
- There are four types of medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, each signifying the level of proficiency in a particular topic.
- To earn a medal, you must successfully complete all the tasks in the topic.
Percentage of Tasks Completed without Redo
The medals you receive upon completing a topic are determined by the percentage of tasks completed without redo.
- 0-50%: Bronze Medal
- 50-70%: Silver Medal
- 70-90%: Gold Medal
- 90-100%: Platinum Medal
Practice Curriculum & Task Solving
- Pro Users: Pro users can solve as many tasks as they want in a day, which accelerates their learning journey on the platform.
- Non-Pro Users: Non-Pro users, however, can only solve one task per day, which might lead to a slower pace in their learning progress.
Active Practice
- Active Practice is a feature available to both Pro and Non-Pro users, allowing them to focus on specific topics.
- At any given time, both Pro and Non-Pro users can have two topics active for practice.
Adding Topics to Active Practice
- Users can add a topic to Active Practice by navigating to the curriculum section and clicking on the “Add” button.
- Pro Users: Pro users can add any topic to Active Practice at any time, provided they have not already reached the maximum limit of two active topics.
- Non-Pro Users: Non-Pro users can add topics only if they have completed the lower levels of that course.
Removing Topics from Active Practice
There are two ways to remove a topic from Active Practice:

Swap with Other Topics in Curriculum: Users can swap an active topic with another one from the curriculum at any time.

Mark as Complete: Users can mark a topic as complete and remove it from Active Practice only after successfully completing all tasks in that topic.
