Jira API Calls from GITLAB CI YAML on failure

Hello Team

I have a small query on GITLAB CI Jira integration , if any pipeline failed then how can i call the Jira API to open up new issue on JIra.

Hello,

Thanks for the link , this is for integration and i already completed that part.
My concern was when GitLab pipeline fails then Issue should open up in jira by itsels i.e with each failure of pipeline Jira issue should be open up.

Do we have any reference to that .
