Hi kodekloud team:
Recently I finish the CKA mock exams course, but only the first exam have in vi set “set tabstop=2” to setup tab with 2 spaces. Can you make the others have it by default ? It’s a little annoying to enter command mode in vi every time I edit a file to get that indentation.
i believe that in most labs, we do. The main skill you need here is the ability to set up vim how you need it quickly and efficiently. You won’t have vim set up exactly how you like it in many circumstances.

Thanks both very much. @Alistair_KodeKloud does the .vimrc would also work for vi in the labs ?
Also there is a way to just copy the .vimrc and be able to put it in all the controlplane nodes ? I guess you could use scp, but I’m not sure if you can copy one file multiple times in different nodes in one command.
EDIT: The .vimrc works but there is any way to send the same .vimrc to multiple nodes in one command ?
Hi @carlos140
I’ve been on vacation.
.vimrc
works anywhere where the vim editor is installed. On modern systems, vi is vim.
