Issues with Iptables installation and configuration task

Here is the list of commands i used on all the app servers, and i still failed the task, any help?

iptables -A INPUT --p tcp --dport 8083 -s 172.16.238.14 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 8089 -j DROP
sudo iptables-save

after doing this on the app servers, i tried the curl command from the lbr host, and all three app servers were working perfectly
