Is creating Endpoints a direct part of CKAD?

Hi,

In Mock Exam 1, Question 10, it seems that knowledge about creating endpoints is expected. I’ve done a lot of searching and asked friends who have passed the exam, but I couldn’t find any mention of this topic being part of the CKAD curriculum. Could you please clarify whether you are certain that the topic and commands you used for Question 10 are indeed included in the CKAD exam?

Thank you!

A general principle concerning any LF exam – no one is certain what topics are covered. There are good educated guesses, but if we ask about an issue in one of our mock exams, it’s typically because someone read the LF tea-leaves and thought the topic might be useful

CKAD UME Q1 is about figuring out why a service isn’t working, and the fix is creating an endpoint manually to point to the external server’s IP address. Could this be similar to a question on the exam? No one really knows; I’d guess not, but that’s all it is on my part. It’s worth being aware of how to solve this kind of problem; services are definitely a fair topic for CKAD. Are endpoints as well? From the curriculum as described by the Linux Foundation, it’s unclear.
