Hi @Ayman @rahul456,
A few days ago I finished the Install Puppet Agent Task
, but was unable to click on finish
because I could not locate the finish button to submit with the new lab interface (ie., I was encountering all kinds of issues with the alignment of the new lab interface). I meant to post about it here, but I got caught up in some other work over the course of the last few days. I just checked back and the task has now been marked as expired. Is there a way that I can get this task marked as finished? I know that I had properly installed Puppet Agent
as the task described.
Thanks:-)
Update:
I have also just encountered the same issues (just now) with another task: Pull Docker Image
.
Again, I finished the task (even though I could barely read what I was typing because the terminal window was so narrow…after clicking various buttons/tabs I was finally able to resize it a bit, but it was difficult to navigate…), but when I clicked on check
(ie., finish), nothing happened. Can I also get this marked as a success? Thanks again.
PS. I am using Chrome on a MacBook Pro.
Hi @juliettet
We have marked the Install Puppet Agent Task
pending for you. Could you please try some other browser, maybe Firefox to see if it works fine there.
Also please provide us the browser console logs when this issue is occurring.
Hi @Inderpreet,
Thank you for responding. I encountered the same issues again just now (in Chrome) when trying to Pull Docker Image
task. I have taken a couple of screenshots:
This is what the interface looks like for me in Chrome. I am unable to resize the terminal to make it larger.
Here is what happens when I click on check
to finish the session:
However, I did complete the lab in Firefox with virtually no issues at all.
I am about to retry the Install Puppet Agent
task. I’ll get back and let you know what happens.
Thanks:-)
Hi again @Inderpreet,
I have just completed the task Install Puppet Agent
(in Firefox) with no issues at all.
Maybe I’ll just stick with that for a while.
…or maybe it’s a caching issue with Chrome. I’ll try again in Chrome on my next task after clearing the browser cache to see what happens
Good to know you were able to complete your tasks and thanks for sharing these details. For now I would suggest you to use Firefox if it works fine, we will further dig into the issue to add required fixes.
Hi @juliettet
Can you please share the chrome version you are facing issues with ?
Hi @Inderpreet ,
This is the version of Chrome that I have been using:
As a side note (…not sure if this matters or not) , I have been using the same browser for the KodeKloud CKA
practice labs & and I have faced no issues there. It’s just (for some reason) happening with the KodeKloud Engineer
tasks.
I did notice yesterday that I was able to complete a KodeKloud Engineer
task in Chrome because I was presented with he old interface. In any regard, if I have to, I will use FireFox for now.
Thanks:-)
