I was directed to community by KodeKloud support. I’m trying to access the labs in AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate course and I got this message as you can see in the first screenshot.
I have followed the instructions in the lab as you can see in the second image,
I only copied and pasted the suggested solution inside the lab.
Also, the task itself requested for the DB table to be replicated in another region and I also followed instructions in the solutions tab.
Can you please explain the issue here and why would KodeKloud insert these steps in the solution?
Hi @raymond.baoly
Can you please let me know how can I share the Lab’s link or do you want the URL?
Also, I got the message on the next lab I started not in the previous one and I don’t think it was linked to specific lab.
Please include a URL for the lab where you were asked to create the DynamoDB – that’s where the so-called violation occurred, and it’s where we need to either fix the lab or fix the policy that’s getting triggered here.
Lab was perhaps “Setting up global dynamodb tables via cli”?? If so, it appears that what you did in that lab annoyed the alarm. I’ve asked engineering to either fix the lab, or the alarm.
Thanks @rob_kodekloud
Yes, it’s Lab - Setting up global dynamodb tables via cli lab
I followed the instructions in the suggested solution, so the issue appears to be within the suggested solution.
The message appeared in the next lab I started.
-This is the URL of the first lab that asked me to create DynamoDB tables
Setting up global dynamodb tables via cli
I would expect that this issue isn’t with your account, but with the lab itself. I’ve created an issue in our internal tracking system to deal with this.
