Deployed ingress-nginx-controller (LoadBalancer type) on Azure Kubernetes playground. Service shows healthy endpoints, correct LoadBalancer IP assigned (48.194.87.8), no error events, NodePort correctly allocated (31166/31999) but showing connect timeout on port 80. az network nsg list returns empty .
When you say "on Azure Kubernetes playground’, you mean on the Azure playground, and you deployed AKS (say by using this procedure here)? As far as I know, you can install ingress-nginx on top of that; you should be able to configure a load balancer to service that ingress controller.
