If we are not exposing any port for a POD how we are still able to access it via a service. I created a pod and on top of it I created a service , with out exposing POD port I was able to connect to it from my web browser using URL. Shouldn’t it have been restricted as port of pod was not exposed

The port is exposed in nginx dockerfile bdw if you want to check, do a netstat on the node. You will see port would be listening.
