I have problems following a course provided by Kodekloud

Hello KodeKloud Community,

I’m currently enrolled in one of the courses here and really enjoying the learning experience. However, I’m facing some challenges with the labs, as I often find it difficult to answer the questions correctly.

Could anyone share some tips on how to effectively study for the certification exams? Also, if there are any strategies or resources that could help improve my understanding and performance in the labs, I’d greatly appreciate your advice.

Thank you all in advance for your support!

Try to focus on understanding the core concepts behind each task rather than just memorizing steps. It helps to review the documentation and experiment with commands outside of the lab environment as well. Also, take your time to reattempt labs if you get stuck, as repetition can really solidify your understanding.

how to know which one is core concept

@mountassir , I know how challenging it can be to navigate a Linux course, especially when preparing for a certification. But don’t worry, you’ve got this!

Here’s my advice: take it one step at a time and don’t rush the process. It can take at least 8 months to truly grasp the concepts, so focus on mastering each section before moving forward. If you find yourself struggling with labs, that’s completely normal. The key is to review the videos and go through the material again until you can confidently complete the labs without second-guessing yourself.

If the KodeKloud videos feel too fast or heavily edited, don’t hesitate to use YouTube. There are countless targeted videos that break down complex topics like IPTables, networking, and system administration in more digestible ways. Additionally, make OpenAI your study partner. It is a judgment-free tool that can help clarify concepts whenever you’re stuck.

Most importantly, your determination is your greatest asset. I wasn’t among the top academically gifted students but I kept pushing forward and if I can do it, so can you. Stay consistent, keep learning, and you’ll reach your goal. Wishing you all the best on your journey to certification! :rocket:
