I am happy to share that I just passed the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam by The <LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn Linux Foundation> & <LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn Native Computing Foundation (CNCF)> . Many thanks to @Mumshad Mannambeth and https://www.linkedin.com/company/kodekloud/|KodeKloud team for building such a great course. I have no previous experience in K8s and this course has helped me to gain enough knowledge to pass the exam after 6 months of preparation. I have also gone through Ultimate Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Mock Exam Series to gain confidence and time management . Note: Even after practicing ETCD backup restore both stacked and external ETCD , still faced issue while restoring the backup. Some tips for new members 1.Office laptop will not work for real exam ,so practice mock exams in your personal laptop. 2. External camera may not help as ID card scan clarity will be a challenge, Laptop camera is preferred . 3.Do not waste time in ETCD backup/restore question ,attempt it last 4. Join exam 30-45 minutes before as it takes lots of time for the proctor to verify and approve.5.Try to remember as much possible as documentation search may take longer time.

Best, congrats!

Hi Dillip. I took the real CKA exam last noght. I had a big issue. I could not save yaml file. For example after using vi command opening a file and after editing it, I could not save it, and the file is discarded. How did you handle it?

Vishv Deshwal:
Namastey Dilip Bhai. For 6 months how many dedicated hours that you put in place for the course on a daily basis. Because I have just started the KodeKloud course for CKA. I want guides and suggestions regarding this journey.

Mumshad Mannambeth:
@dillip mohanty Congratulations mate!

Murtuza Motorwala:
Thank you for the tips!

Murtuza Motorwala:
@Tonggang Dong - You could try using sudo vi filename.yaml and then while saving - wq!
