How to use VI editor

Hi Team,

I’m started using terminal and vi editor but I don’t know how to save and close it while doing the labs.
Can you please suggest how to open a VI editor, save and close it.

hi,

I know little basics of VI… but while writing the practice test if I use :wq it is not saving and exiting the VI. it is getting struck there. So not sure whether I’m using it wrong or there is something wrong with the environment
