How to troubleshoot if restart deployment but nothing happens with no event, not creating replicasets, not creating pods?
I think issue of kube-api-load-balancer → kube-apiserver → etcd, right?
Many thanks.

How Can I know the kubectl command has been reached “kube-apiserver”?
Alex Novik:
if you restarted deployment api-server is working
Alex Novik:
kubectl talking to api-server, any positive output means it is working
K8s_Member:
The problem is when I run restart deploy, nothing happens. Even if when I run kubectl describe deployment...
have no Events.
K8s_Member:
No replicasets, no pods
Alex Novik:
check journalctl -xu kube-apiserver
Alex Novik:
kubectl get pods, get nodes the same?
K8s_Member:
Those things have values, so I think that kube-apiserver is working fine.

As you said.
K8s_Member:
The problem is no replicasets or Pods is creating.
Describe Deployment with no events
Alex Novik:
check journalctl just to make sure
Alex Novik:
what is rollout status by the way
Alex Novik:
kubectl rollout status deployment/<yourdeployment>
K8s_Member:
Nothing happens as well.
Alex Novik:
is controller-manager running?
K8s_Member:
How can i check that?
K8s_Member:
View service/pods on master node, right?
Alex Novik:
kubectl get pods -n kube-system
