How to install cronie

I’ve started on Level 2 Linux. The first question ask to install cronie. I found github url to download it. But can’t get anything with curl output. Also, what is the reason apt, apt-get is not availabe on app servers?

Because those are not Ubuntu servers.

Then why does uname -a outputs this:

Yup, it is Cent OS. Folks, look into /etc/*releases for correct information

@aman.tur Please read this post for explanation of what uname is telling you.

uname describes the kernel release, not the distro.
