Hello,

Thank you for your valuable suggestion. The purpose of KodeKloud Engineer program is to provide as much as possible the real time experience. When you work on a project you get the requirements (mostly without hints  ) to work on. So its upon your understanding of tasks and how you can gather information/solutions for the task from internet or from your past experience.

But if you see any missing, confusing or miss-leading information within the questions please feel free to share, we are always happy to make improvements/corrections for best experience.

Thanks

Hello ,
First of all , I want to thank you for this beautiful project .
However , I got stucked with my first task , I don’t know how to begin to set up banners , can you help me out ?
This is the task: During the monthly compliance meeting, it was pointed out that several servers in the Stratos DC do not have a valid banner. The security team has provided serveral approved templates which should be applied to the servers to maintain compliance. These will be displayed to the user upon a successful login

Update the message of the day on all application and db servers for Nautilus . Make use of the approved template located at /root/nautilus_banner

Finish

Hello,

So in question you are asked to setup an approved banner /root/nautilus_banner for all application and DB servers. You can find all details related to servers, credentials, project and environment from your KKE dashboard itself. On left side panel under project you can find options like Wiki, Architecture etc.

So once you have clarity that on which servers task needs to be performed and how to access that servers then you can proceed further. Regarding actually doing the task we would recommend you to perform the same based on your knowledge and experience, try to google things and find out the desired solutions.

Thanks
