Hi Team, so in OS upgrade lab I was asked to check “How many applications are hosted on the cluster?”. When I checked there was 1 deployment and 1 pod running. So I selected 2, but the result was 1 application. Why is so?

Was the pod a subset of deployment?

No, the deployment has 5 replicaset mean 5 pods running but 1 more pod was there.

At the bottom of the question I remember it’s written check deployment in some question.

also, if we were ask to check applications hosted on the cluster in exam, and suppose there are many namespaces including kube-system, kube-monitoring, etc. How to chek for applications only in such case?
