Ankit Tandon:
Hi All, can someone please confirm if by default Azure allows internet connectivity in a newly created VNet? I know in AWS it does not enable it by default and you need to explicitly allow it using NACLs and SGs.
A Uday:
Same as in AWS, a newly created VNet in Azure does not allow any internet traffic. The VNet is isolated from the internet and other networks by default, and inbound or outbound traffic must be explicitly allowed through NSGs or other means.

Appreciate your quick response, Uday!
