Hey guys…
i think i found some errors in the cka init containers lab:
https://beta.kodekloud.com/topic/practice-test-init-containers-2
In my opinion the answer provided for questions 5 and 7 are all wrong

Tej_Singh_Rana:
Hello, @Florian Mandlmeier
I don’t think so. I haven’t found any issue with the answer.
Can you please explain it?

Florian Mandlmeier:
If remember correctly question 7 was how long will the pod be active and the command inside the pod was sleep 3600 –> means an hour
but there was no option for choosing this… i have chosen 30 minutes then this was then the correct answer

Florian Mandlmeier:
but maybe i didn’t get it

Tej_Singh_Rana:
We have to calculate the time from initContainers, not from the main container. We specified in both initContainers 1800 seconds, so pod won’t start before 1800 seconds.
and question says -
How long after the creation of the POD will the application come up and be available to users?
As we already know pod has been created but stuck in the initialize mode due to initContainers. So users can’t use that pod apps until pod is in ready state and it can happen after 1800 seconds.
So according to the analysis the answer should be 1800 seconds or 30 mins.
We specified “sleep 3600” to hold the main container, otherwise it will go into the crashloopbackOff and you won’t be able to see the “echo” result.
Hope it helps.

Florian Mandlmeier:
ah ok maybe then the question is a little bit confusing… then you should maybe ask how long will it take until the application comes online.
