If I want to access my udemy-part labs, do I need to (1) create account on current platform and use link/coupon, and then (2) signup with same email on http://beta.kodekloud.com|beta.kodekloud.com? I cannot see how I directly can use the coupon on beta.

If you have already signed up for labs on the current platform, and if you login to the beta site with the same email address you will automatically have access to the labs.
If you have not already signed up for labs on the current platform, please follow the link and coupon available here to enrol in the new beta site. There is no more a coupon to enrol for labs in the current platform.
