Help with log into VM CentOS

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me. I installed VirtualBox with Linus and CentOS VM on my PC using OSBoxes but I am not able to log in using the access credentials for the CentOS server I installed. The message on VM window is ‘Login incorrect’. I am using the CentOS 9 password details as shown below:

CentOS 9
Username: osboxes
Password: osboxes.org
Root Account Password: osboxes.org
Guest Tools: Open-VM-Tools Installed
Keyboard Layout: US (Qwerty)
VMware Compatibility: Version 10+

Any idea why I am unable to log in. Is there any other setting that needs to be configured for the VM to accept credentials?

Hi @info_mvarghese_odmn,

Try to connect with root, password : osboxes.org also be sure that you use US keyboard

Thanks @mmkmou for your suggestion. I was in fact using the same root password. I also ensured that I was using the US keyboard. However it is still not allowing me to log in. Let me know if any other ideas. Thanks.
