hello Everyone, I have a question regarding cluster maintenance. I want to make sure that i understood the draining process, we drain a node only if we have pods that are part of replicaSet or smth, cause standalone pods will be evicted permanently isn’t it ? If i want to maintain a node that has for example 2 pods : one pod which is part of a replicaSet and the other one is a standalone pod. If i drain the node the pod that is part of the replicaSet will be moved ( terminated from the node ) & created elsewhere in another node …

Standalone pods will be gone forever. The pods that are part if RS will be terminates and RS will try to create them on other available nodes.
