Gurudutt Dongre:
Hello All. Happy to let you know that I have passed CKA and received my certificate today. Thanks to all of you for all the posts/questions and responses. I tried to go through each one of the posts to make sure I didn’t miss any of the information shared. @Mumshad Mannambeth - Thank you a lot for putting together a beautifully structured course with engaging labs and lessons. It wouldn’t have been possible without your course.

Congratulations
Gurudutt Dongre:
I dont have much prior experience with Kubernetes. I started step by step with Mumshad’s Docker/JSON path/Kubernetes courses. I went through the CKA course twice over a period of a month (daily about 1 hour). In the last few days nearing to the exam went through mock exams/lightning labs multiple times to increase my speed and also to be able to easily find the info on http://kubernetes.io|kubernetes.io site. Used bookmarks shared by @Malayamanas Panda and also kind of memorized which templates to be used in each of those pages if need be. Finally used killer.sh module two days before the exam twice and went through their analysis method/solutions and found out a few things that I could add to my preparation. Do not panic if your scores on killer.sh is low, I could only score about 69 in my first attempt and improved a little in the next one. killer.sh is definitely very hard than the actual exams itself. Mumshad’s course and mock exams should help you sail safely and pass the exam. Good luck to you all.

@Gurudutt Dongre Congratulations !
Sajid Qureshi:
@Gurudutt Dongre congrats:kubernetes_party:. how many questions are there and did you feel that you are running out of time?
Gurudutt Dongre:
I was stuck with about 3 questions which took more time to solve than I expected. I didnt have much time left out actually but I had made sure that I was focused while answering other questions in the first attempt and didnt need to reverify the answers. There would be about 16-18 questions and I believe its a moving curve.
Gurudutt Dongre:
do try killer.sh which gives you a real time feeling of sitting for the exam due to its GUI being very close to that of the exam setup.
Sajid Qureshi:
@Gurudutt Dongre thanks much for info. i tried killer.sh and i got 89/129 but i am not sure how to compare it with real exam though.
Sajid Qureshi:
in killer.sh if a question has 3 parts and we can do 2 of them correct then they count those 2 but does this happen in real exam too?
Gurudutt Dongre:
If that score was on your first attempt then I would say you are ready…atleast from my experience. Yes, subtasks too has marks and complete all the parts of the question that you can.
Sajid Qureshi:
cool thank you so much @Gurudutt Dongre congratulations once again:tada:
