Having issues with aws day 2 task

I logged in successfully as the user and created the security group via the console, not the given terminal. However, upon requesting the check button, it said that the security group does not exist. What might be the issue, or do I

have to do it via the terminal to get the marks

I tried the lab via the AWS Console, and it worked fine at my end.
